Scarlett Johansson finally showed up in the new trailer for the Coen Brothers much-anticipated comedy Hail, Caesar! yesterday–and she’s a great reason for Hail, Caesar! to be much anticipated. There’s been a lot of speculation about the Coen Brothers’ upcoming comedy set in the Old Hollywood, and a lot of that sparked wild hopes that Scarlett really was playing an Esther Williams-type swimming star wearing a mermaid outfit.
The new trailer confirms that the rumors are true. It also confirms that we’ll be front and center in the movie theater on opening day for Hail, Caesar! so we can hail Scarlett. Too bad it won’t be in 3D. Anyway, we know that plenty of guys have carefully watched the new Hail, Caesar! trailer over the past several hours.
