Western High Shooting: Police Give “All Clear” After Bogus Call

Western High and Waller-Williams Enviromental School in Shively, Kentucky are on lockdown after police have announced an active shooter situation.

Most importantly, there are no announced injuries or deaths at this moment and police have responded to an “active shooter” situation. There are multiple emergency response units on the scene.

Update–10:54 AM EST: Police have given the all clear signal. Reports indicate it was a bogus phone call.

Parents trying to go to the school are being told to report to Rockford Lane Baptist Church at 2006 Rockford Lane.

According to Jefferson County Public Schools spokeswoman Bonnie Hackbarth, JCPS security received a call from a school that there was an active shooting at Western High School. That’s when they alerted the authorities.
