Ever wonder what it would be like to drive through a forest set ablaze by a ravenous wild fire? Well now you don’t have to.
Last weekend a massive fire took hold of nearly 61,000 acres of Northern California and it continues to rage. But unlike the majority of Nor Cal residents who fled from their homes, these guys decided to ride it out instead – literally.
The below video – which was filmed by a group of California natives – puts you in the middle of the fiery chaos and it’s pretty terrifying.
Although we hear stories about the devastation caused by these yearly fires, we don’t often get video footage of what it’s like to experience them firsthand. That alone is obviously what makes this video so awesome in retrospect, but can you even imagine what must have been going through these guys’ heads while filming?
