The ad executives at Nike really believed in the University of Oregon Ducks last season. In fact, they spent a lot of money on a pretty brilliant Animal House parody that was ready to run when the Ducks won the national championship.
The Ducks did not win the national championship. Now, after an acceptable period of mourning, Nike has unleashed this star-athlete-studded spot–because it cost a lot of money, and it would still look good on a lot of promotional reels out there.
