Should NYC Ban Body Paint Performers? We Found Out First Hand

New York City’s least favorite politician, Mayor Bill de Blasio, is blowing up the news right now as he attempts to shut down the scantily-clad, body painted performers in Times Square. His plan has only one problem: They aren’t breaking any laws. In NYC it’s perfectly legal for women to be shirtless in public, and all they’re doing is posing for pictures with tourists, which is no different from all the other characters in Times Square.

Nobody seems to care what de Blasio is wasting his valuable time on, and to confirm that notion I went to Times Square to get some tourists’ opinions on whether or not topless performers should be allowed to panhandle. And to get the full experience I did the interviews while wearing nothing but briefs and the same patriotic body paint as the girls.
