Banksy Dismaland, a month-long festival from the infamous street artist Banksy, debuts Friday night for the first time ever. People are understandably very excited for the festival–not only will feature some of the best musicians and art in the world, tickets are only 3£ a day.
While “Dismaland” an obvious play on Disney World, the artist has actually banned Disney imagery from the festival–probably out of fear of Mickey’s really good lawyers. Instead, works by 58 handpicked artists including Damien Hirst and Jenny Holzer have been installed across the 2.5-acre site.

As far as named musicians go, you can expect to see DJ Yoda, Peanut Butter Wolf andBreakbeat Lou. Run The Jewels, Sleaford Mods, Savages,Kate Tempest, Pussy Riot and Massive Attack at Banksy’s Dismaland.
But you can bet your sweet tuchus that those “DJs” that are mentioned are going to be live as f*ck. No way that solid musicians are going to pass up the opportunity to play at the coolest festival of the year.

Dismaland is open every day from August 22nd to September 27th, from 11 AM to 11 PM. Tickets are 3£ a day, and free for children under 5. But considering that Banksy calls Dismaland a “family theme park unsuitable for small children,” we’re guessing there won’t be many kids there.
