WATCH: Ray Tensing, Sam Dubose Body Camera Video

Body camera footage from the Ray Tensing and Sam Dubose shooting was released after the University of Cincinnati Police Officer’s indictment today. Officer Tensing was indicted on murder charges,aHamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said Wednesday afternoon, adding that the officer “purposely killed him” and “should never have been a police officer.”
Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell admitted last week that he’d seen the previously unreleased footage from Officer Tensing’s body camera during last week’s fatal shooting and “it’s not good.”

Below you’ll find the edited footage (seemingly recorded in the courtroom) which shows everything leading up to the shooting. At first, Officer Tensing asks if Sam Dubose’s license is suspended. He then asks Sam where he lives, then for him to step out of the car. You see Sam keeping his door shut and driving off, then Officer Tensing drawing his weapon. What happens next is the shooting.

The University of Cincinnati closed its campus in anticipation of the indictment.
