Personal trainer Danny Davidson would like to give you a valuable fitness tip: along with eating well and a cardio-heavy workout regimen, he wants you to drink breast milk for that desirous extra bulk.
We know what you’re thinking – that’s insanely weird. Where is he getting said breast milk from? A baby store? An actual baby? His girlfriend’s teet?
Thankfully, it’s not the latter. The 32-year-old personal trainer drinks 100ml of breast milk several times a week, which he buys from all over the world for $40-$80.
Despite the lack of actual research, Davidson claims that the growth hormones in the milk help him build muscle and bulk up. He explains,
“I didn’t want to take steroids to get big because I’ve seen the effects it can have on you in your old age.
There were these big rugby guys at the gym and they said they drank breast milk to build muscle… I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked and a little bit skeptical that it would work.”
Now, the man’s a believer.
Despite various health concerns – like the fact that HIV and Hepatitis C can spread through breast milk, and that the chances of getting that from milk found on the black market is presumably higher – Davidson isn’t concerned. He explains, “I’m very aware it can be dangerous but I don’t screen it and I just take a chance.”
Yeah… a really weird chance.
