Every year, people flock to Pebble Beach to see Bill Murray play in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. This year, golf fans are getting a second treat with Murray playing in the John Deere Classic pro-am in western Illinois. Murray is a diehard Cubs fan and of course the fans wanted to talk about the Cubs and the Cardinals and the series that was just played. Murray had a special message for what Cardinals fans are.

Clearly as a comedian, he is messing around but there is no doubt there was some truth to it. It is always positive to see Murray still on the golf course and having fans with the fans after all these years and many generations knowing the movie Caddyshack. “Satan’s messengers on Earth” though may be one of the greatest comebacks from a Cubs fan to a Cardinals fan ever though.
The two teams are going to see each other plenty before the end of this season and Murray is likely going to find himself at a few of those games since he plans his schedule around big Cubs games. There are going to be some Cardinals fans who want to mess with Murray though with some Satan-related gear next time the Cubs go to St. Louis.
