Sure, maybe Carly Schmidt is taking over Indiana Tech’s pole vaulting team with her long blonde hair, hot ripped bod, and undeniable talent, but nothing will ever beat the original pole vaulting babe – Allison Stokke.
The 26-year-old California athlete caught our eye back in 2007, when the barely legal track star started popping up all over the Internet with photos that caused quite a stir. But once you looked past the skintight lycra shorts and short tank tops, you realized that the girl actually had some serious talent. While earning her Masters degree from UC Berkeley, Stokke proved her competitive streak was worth while and she snagged a ton of wins. Now she’s got an awesome partnership with GoPro.
After her recent pole vaulting video, Stokke is taking her GoPro, good looks, and talent for another video shoot, and adding water to the mix. It may be the coolest, hottest thing we’ve seen today. Thank you, Instagram, and thank you Allison Stokke.
