WATCH: Subway Platform Long Jump Fail In NYC On Video

A man was recently filmed trying to long jump from one New York City subway platform to the other. We use the word trying because he failed miserably and probably cracked a rib in the process. According to the original uploader, his friend successfully made the jump–which is why he tried to attempt it as well.
There were lots of poor decisions made (including using two feet), but at least they were smart enough to start from the third rail and work their way across.
