Milan is currently winning at life.
More than 60 of the city’s most talented pizza makers came together for 18 long hours to make a 5234 foot long pie at Milan’s world fair, Expo 2015. Working through the night, the final masterpiece was awarded the world record of longest pizza in the world by Guinness World Records judges.
The record-setting pie was made with 1.5 tons of mozzarella and 2 tons of tomato sauce, and weighed a total of 5 tons. After it was measured, expo attendees feasted on the pie for free.
Those lucky bastards. Talk about the most epic late night eat in the world.
