Director Luc Besson just announced on Twitter that Valerian: The City of A Thousand Planets will be his next project. Why should you care? Because Luc’s the guy who made The Fifth Element and Valerian will star Clara Delevingne (and Dane DeHaan from The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

Valerian: The City of A Thousand Planets will be adapted from a French comic series about a man and a woman who save the Earth by warping through space and time.
Our guess is that those two people will be played by Clara and Dane, mostly because Luc told us so. We have no idea what that dolphin emoticon stands for, though.
