The 2015 Masters just ended two weeks ago with Jordan Spieth winning his first green jacket. There has been talk for a while about the idea of allowing the women to have their own Masters in Augusta. LPGA star Paula Creamer tweeted just over a week ago that she wished that the folks in Augusta would consider the idea. [Getty Images / Ross Kinnaird]

This week, she made her views very clear to the Associated Press. “I’ve been there, I’ve played there, stayed in Butler’s Cabin. I had an awesome time. I think the patrons and everybody would love to have two weeks there, two tournaments. Why wouldn’t you?” Creamer makes a very solid point and one that The Masters has to look into.
There is simply no reason why the women can’t play on the same course as the men at arguably the greatest golf course in the world. There is already a response from the folks at The Masters saying that it takes enough time just to have one tournament and that two would be too much. It sounds like an excuse. Hopefully Billy Payne and company change their minds on this.
