The massive Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California has been happening all weekend, starting with the launching of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer–but the best video out of the weekend doesn’t involve a big budget. Well, except for what it costs to build your own R2D2 at home.
Check out the footage below as the hobby of some really geeky (and probably rich) guy pays off in a touching moment, with R2D2 going up to a kid in a wheelchair and fooling around for a while. You haven’t seen a little boy get as happy in a long time. That wheelchair is really stylin’, too.
Also, it’s good to see R2D2 enjoying some attention. The spotlight’s going to be on BB-8 for a while…
