The University of Alabama has banned the playing of “Dixieland Delight” in Bryant Denny Stadium, due to the vulgar lyrics that ‘Bama fans have started adding to the song.
Obviously Alabama fans are upset–because they’re always f*cking upset–at the fact that one of their biggest traditions have just been nixed, but they only have themselves to blame. Yelling “F*ck Auburn” isn’t a good way to get parents excited.
Full disclosure, the whole situation with UAB and the allegations of tampering has gotten me pretty pissed off at ‘Bama right now.
