Jose Canseco Is Really Excited Because He Thinks He Can Ride On Comets Now

Jose Canseco recently shot off his own finger, but that isn’t keeping the former MLB hero from showing off his smarts. Of course, a lot of people are excited about yesterday’s successful space mission aboard the Rosetta spacecraft. It’s a big deal that the Rosetta could successfully place a lander on a passing comet. Jose Canseco, however, is really excited–starting with how he thinks NASA had anything to do with the work of the European Space Agency. Also, Jose believes that we’ve finally unlocked the mystery of how to go on a comet ride. As he explains via Twitter, “If Earth can control the comet transport system, we will run the Milky Way. Think about that.” Jose also explains that the success of the Rosetta launch “opens up new business like galaxy touring cruising, asteroid mining, interstellar trade, and planet colonies.”
As far as celebrities go, James Cameron seems a lot closer to grasping the concept of asteroid mining. We can’t think of a single celebrity who’s gone on about how comets have always been “star taxis” for Galactic Beings. In fact, we can’t think of a celebrity who’s managed to embarrass himself like this for a long time.
