The election results are in, and it wasn’t a great day for the Democrats or President Obama. The important thing, though, is that Barack Obama was able to get back at Michael Jordan for recently suggesting that the President is a “shi##y golfer.” That kind of attack cannot stand in the Obama administration. So with Wisconsin in the midst of one of the year’s biggest political battles, Barack Obama called up radio guy Earl Stokes on Wisconsin’s Jammin’ 98.3 to throw some shade back at Michael. Well, to be fair, Obama was talking about some serious political stuff, too. The interview actually ran the morning before the President’s disastrous mid-term election results. The radio host still couldn’t resist bringing up Michael Jordan’s diss, though. And the President replied (seriously, you can listen below)..
Michael wasn’t very well informed about this. I think he might’ve just been trying to give Ahmad [Rashad] an extra ratings boost on his show. But there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats, or maybe the Hornets.
Michael Jordan owns the Charlotte Hornets basketball team, and they aren’t having a good year.
Anyway, listen below at the 7:12 mark–or maybe sooner in the audio, if you want to hear more political talk. Too late for the Wisconsin election, though–and don’t think we’re just goofing on Obama here, either. We were a little baffled by the Republican governor of Wisconsin taking time to commit some pro-Packers vandalism, too…
