The newly-slim Zach Galifianakis is back with a new FunnyOrDie installment of Between Two Ferns, and those ferns get crowded with the star power of Brad Pitt and guest star Louis CK. You can’t blame Zach Galifianakis for bringing in some backup, either. This is the first installment of Between Two Ferns since Zach sat down with Barack Obama. That wasn’t going to be an easy act to follow.
Anyway, Zach may have lost a lot of weight, but there’s still tons of awkwardness on the traditionally tense talk show. Has anybody ever actually screwed up an episode of Between Two Ferns? Brad Pitt puts on a nice brave front, but it’d be nice to get somebody on there someday who isn’t in on the joke. It can’t be that difficult. At least we can be sure that Zach Galifianakis isn’t going to get lazy with his FunnyOrDie franchise. We bet he’s already pitching Kanye West…
