"Friggin Christmas" Trailer Better Not Be Robin Williams Legacy [VIDEO]

You would think that a trailer for a Christmas movie that has Robin Williams and Joel McHale threatening Santa with a chainsaw would be kind of promising. That is not the case with A Merry Friggin Christmas. In fact, this thing looks like it would be debuting via VOD if it hadn’t been for Robin Williams committing suicide back in August. It would be very nice to get all excited over one of Williams’ posthumous releases, but this isn’t going to get anyone into a really jolly mood.
We doubt that A Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb will do the job, either. Looks like it’s up to the UK comedy Absolutely Anything to save the day. That’s the one where Williams voices a talking dog. Hey, it can’t look worse than this–and the trailer, incidentally, isn’t looking too great with that massive Entertainment Tonight logo on it…
