Billy Idol Went Unplugged While Opening The CBGB Festival [VIDEOS]

The CBGB Music & Film Festival started last night with keynote speaker Billy Idol–and there was some extra special punk action (or, you know, ’80s mainstream rock action) as he brought out longtime guitarist Steve Stevens for some stripped-down takes on some of Billy’s biggest hits. We’re hoping that Billy’s given up doing that live version of “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” though. We know that Billy originally turned down the Simple Minds’ song from The Breakfast Club, but that one sounds better in Molly Ringwald’s cabaret act…
