No lie, these helmets the Navy Midshipmen will be wearing against Ohio State University for this weekend’s football game might be the cleanest looking things I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The matte black, gold and white is really doing it for me. I wonder if freshmen players will be responsible for scrubbing everyone’s helmet to keep it pristine.
This will be the first year that Navy will be under contract with Under Armor for their uniforms. It’s a great pickup for UA because not only is Annapolis in Maryland (the state UA wants to claim as its own), it’s the football team of the US Navy and military guys love Under Armor.
