Stephen Colbert Visited His Future Talk Show Home Last Night [VIDEO]

Stephen Colbert made a visit to his future home at CBS last night–and he couldn’t be more thrilled to be taking over for David Letterman.

Letterman seems genuinely very happy with his replacement. Colbert started off the interview with, “I’m going to do whatever you have done” to uproarious laughter and applause. Letterman immediately said, “No, no, no!” He seemed to flatter Colbert by following up with, “They could have just hired another boob like me, but instead they hired you.”

We’re certainly excited to see how Colbert does in replacing the iconic Late Night host.  We personally think he’ll be great–but it will be interesting to see him not performing in ultra-conservative drag….
