"The Quiet Ones" Trailer: Horror Film Gets Pretty Damn Loud [VIDEO]

It’s been a good year for creepy little horror movies so far. The latest entry is The Quiet Ones, which has serious horror cache as being another release from the legendary UK horror outfit Hammer Studios. Not every movie from the revived Hammer has been a hit, but they were the people behind Daniel Radcliffe’s The Woman in Black. We’re also feeling pretty good about The Quiet Ones. The idea certainly sounds like an old-fashioned Hammer horror idea. It’s about a university experiment to create a poltergeist, with an unhinged young lady set to serve as a catalyst for the creation. It’s not too surprising that things go wrong–but there are still plenty of creepy moments to be enjoyed. Check it out, and wait until the very end for an old-fashioned voiceover, too.
