"Daft Punk" Were The "Hippest" Thing at the ACM Awards [GIF]

Country stars Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards last night, and we’ll give them credit for one great moment worthy of Hee Haw. Yeah, there was a sketch comedy show called Hee Haw that was like Laugh-In for country music fans; Laugh-In was a sketch comedy show that…oh, forget it. The important thing is that casual viewers of the ACM Awards who might have been taking a brief break from Game of Thrones or Wrestlemania 30 got a real WTF moment when Daft Punk came out.
And then we had a good laugh as the dance heroes were revealed to be Luke and Blake. “How the hell are you supposed to get lucky in that thing?” asked Luke. “I couldn’t even breathe!” So, that was cool. And so was Olivia Munn baring a lot of sideboob. We didn’t watch more, but we’re happy to immortalize the Daft Punk moment above. We bet the men of Daft Punk got a kick out of it, too.
