Maccabi Tel Aviv pay homage to Walter White with massive ‘Breaking Bad’ banner
Fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv apparently idolize Walter White, the fictional sociopath from Breaking Bad. According to our friends over at Extra Mustard, the team’s fans paid homage to the character at yesterday’s game against Hapoel Beer Sheva by unveiling a massive banner across the stands. The banner paraphrases one of White’s famous quotes from the show, “I’m not in danger. I am the danger.” While I don’t personally see the correlation between the AMC show and soccer, Maccabi Tel Aviv pulled off the win so, ya know, whatever works.
