Kevin Spacey Spotted in Israel Performing Frank Sinatra Impersonation Amid Homelessness Claims

Kevin Spacey, the former Oscar-winning actor who’s been largely absent from Hollywood, has surfaced in Tel Aviv, Israel, performing a Frank Sinatra-inspired musical set. Spacey, who recently claimed he isn’t “homeless in the colloquial sense” despite living in hotels, appeared on stage singing Sinatra classics like “That’s Life.”

A video circulating on social media shows Spacey’s unexpected musical performance. Beyond Sinatra’s repertoire, he also performed Billie Holiday’s “I’ll Be Seeing You” and Jerry Jeff Walker’s “Mr. Bojangles” – complete with a harmonica and tap shoes.

The actor has been working primarily in European cinema since his fall from grace.

His recent projects include the Italian film “The Contract” – where he portrays a character called The Devil – which premiered at last fall’s Cairo Film Festival. This follows his appearances in another Italian production, “The Man Who Drew God” (2022), and the British independent film “Control” (2023).

In late November, Spacey addressed rumors about his living situation through an Instagram post. “In light of the recent articles claiming that I am homeless, I feel the need to respond. Not to the press but to the thousands of people who have reached out over the past few days, offering me a place to stay, or who have just asked if I’m okay,” he wrote.

“And to all of you, let me say that I’m truly touched by your generosity, full stop,” Spacey continued in his statement. “But I feel like it would be disingenuous of me to allow you to believe that I’m indeed homeless in the colloquial sense.”

The Tel Aviv performance represents one of Spacey’s more public appearances since being blackballed from mainstream entertainment following multiple sexual misconduct allegations. Critics on social media have questioned whether this musical venture represents “rock bottom or performance art” for the disgraced actor.

Spacey’s career trajectory has shifted dramatically from Hollywood blockbusters and his role in House of Cards to smaller international productions and now, apparently, musical performances in hotel venues.

Weeks after Kevin Spacey was rumored to be homeless and admitted he’d “been a jerk,” he didn’t reappear with a movie or an apology tour…
