World's Smartest Student Makes a Hot Sandwich in the Middle of Class

A resourceful student with a serious appetite came up with a brilliant way to enjoy a hot lunch at school: He made a grilled cheese sandwich during class. [Image via Twicsy]
An unidentified student at the University of West Scotland brought what appears to be a George Foreman grill or a panini press to his college lecture along with a couple of slices of bread and a bag of shredded cheese. He sat down at his usual place in the classroom, plugged in the sandwich maker, plopped in the bread slices and covered them with two big handfuls of cheese. Several students in the classroom spotted the student making the sandwich and took pictures of their own to document it on their Twitter feeds and Instagram channels.
It’s clear from the photo that the student didn’t want the teacher to know that he was making a sandwich in the middle of class and not just because he’s cleverly hidden the sandwich maker beneath his desk. We actually had a bit of a hard time finding the photo in question. The original link to the photo disappeared from Twitter after it went viral. We had to dig up the photo on a Twitter photo cache site. It’s possible that the student in question didn’t want to get in trouble with the professor. It would be a shame because his idea deserves him some kind of A+ especially if the class in question was for home economics or some kind of nutrition elective.
