Some teams decide to get new players when they have a bad season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided that a completely new uniform was the one to go. The team unveiled their new jerseys on Monday morning and to say they are different would be an understatement. There is a much brighter shade of pewter and adds more orange.
The new jersey is a big difference from the team’s fully orange uniforms when the team came into the NFL. Who knows if this will actually make a difference but at least the team is trying something. If they could just get Doug Martin healthy to begin the 2014 season now, they would be in much better shape.
It would be a different change to see Tampa Bay back in Super Bowl contention for the first time in 20 years. Now fans can go out and spend more money for brand new jerseys to wear of their favorite Buccaneer player. And don’t forget that brand-new logo, too…
