Stuff The Intern Forgot: Man Sues NFL, Public Meltdowns & More [Links]

Man Sues NFL For Not Offering Enough Super Bowl Tickets To The Public

Super Bowl XLVIII will be the first Super Bowl to be held in the New York City metro area since 1962, and as always, tickets are in high demand. Tickets to the Super Bowl are more sought after than any other American sport. According to our friends over at Extra Mustard, a man named Josh Finkelman from New Brunswick, NJ has filed a class action lawsuit in federal court, alleging that out of the estimated 80,000 Super Bowl tickets, only 1% of them are available to the general public. The league’s policy forces fans to purchase tickets through a secondary market, such as StubHub, Ebay, or Craigslist. I can’t see the federal court system ruling against the NFL in this lawsuit, but on behalf of all American football fans I say this: “Good luck, Mr. Finkelman.”

Now, I’m assuming our intern is still hopelessly searching for affordable Super Bowl tickets, but that won’t stop me from posting this amazing stuff…
