Today Is Blue Monday, The Most Depressing Day Of The Year
Every Monday I hear people complain about the fact that it’s Monday. Clearly nobody likes going back to work after a party-filled weekend (except all of us here at the COED office, because our jobs are awesome), but did you know that today is “Blue Monday,” which has been scientifically proven to be the most miserable day of the year? According to our friends over at Maxim, “Blue Monday” was identified by scholar Cliff Arnall, who measured factors such as weather patterns, debt levels, divorce filings, and the amount of time since Christmas feasts…and ultimately determined that people were the saddest on the Monday after New Years. So keep your head up and trust me, tomorrow will be better…scientifically at least.
