Demotivational Thursday: Lindsay Lohan Edition [17 POSTERS]

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy cover leaked online yesterday and everyone went f***ing nuts. We didn't post on it mostly because it was a really sh*tty pic that didn't show much. From what we did see, she looks amazing, but the folks at Playboy are dynamite at deleting imperfections. Case in point, Tara Reid. I loved Tara Reid but after Frankenstein nip slip and tummy tuck nightmare, I thought there wasn't a shot in hell she'd look good. Fast forward to her Playboy spread and eyebrows raise. "Not bad". So, what should we expect with LiLo? Reports state she won't do full frontal nudity, which I hope doesn't mean we won't see nips. To celebrate her cover and pictorial, we've pulled together the funniest LiLo-themed demotivational posters.

Demotivational Thursday: Twister Is The Best. Game. Ever. [15 POSTERS]

Last week, we brought you demotivational posters about... The Game... sh*t. We, and subsequently YOU, just lost. Anyway, this week's all about #WINNING with demotes (that's the new hot slang for demotivational posters) that feature the BEST game ever: Twister. Why? Demotivational Thursday: They See Me Rollin’ Dog Edition [23 POSTERS]

Last week, we kicked off a new COED feature called, Demotivational Thursday, which might look familiar to our Facebook fans. This week, we thought we'd produce our very own demotivational posters. Hopefully, you've seen the 'They See Me Rollin'" meme and the pic of a super chill dog hanging out in his owner's truck with his paw out the window. With those forces combined, we could rule the world. So we mashed 'em up for this epic gallery of pooches pimpin' and flossin' in various modes of transport. Check 'em out after the jump.

56 Gay Test Demotivational Posters

For a lot of people, high school sucks. Especially if you're not cool or popular or hot. Many bloggers probably don't fit into any of those categories. So, let's just say that hooking up and dating were in high demand but very little supply. So little in fact that many classmates would often call those less fortunate ladies men "gay" for not being able to seal the deal. Hell, you get heckled enough and you start to wonder... holy sh*t... am I gay? Well, luckily, we have a bunch of demotivational posters that will test you on your gayness (not that there's anything wrong with that). Check 'em out in our gallery after the jump.

42 Vintage Disneyland Posters For The Anniversary Of The Park’s Opening [PHOTOS]

July 17th marks the anniversary of Disneyland's opening. While many of us East Coasters opt for Disney World, we hear Disneyland ain't so bad either. In brainstorming ways to honor this momentous date, we thought maybe we could do creepy and/or awkward pics of scared kids with characters or the most dangerous rides, but when we saw one of the vintage posters it was a no-brainer. We have a soft spot for vintage posters and you might, too, after checking out our gallery of yesteryear artwork. Check it out after the jump.

82 “You’re Doing It Wrong” Demotivational Posters

You’re Doing It Wrong is a popular internet catchphrase that lets people know they might be able to improve the manner in which they are doing something. Word has it the meme started around 2004 thanks to a dude named Sebastian Grillmaier aka "Lone Gunman" who posted the first YDITW on a TribalWars forum. However, the trend didn't become widespread until 2007-2008. So, while everyone in YOUR life continues to insist YOU are doing what you're doing wrong, it's time for you to realize you're not alone. Check out the demotivational posters that should motivate you to laugh after the jump.

34 Totally Awesome ’80s & ’90s Sports Posters [PHOTOS]

The Costacos Brothers shot and produced “fantasy” sports posters that gave pro athletes a larger-than-life look and appeal. Since they didn't have a license from any of the leagues, they were unable to produce game action shots. Instead, they made personality posters that turned the players into comic book heroes and Hollywood action stars. To celebrate their new exhibit "For the Kids" at Salon 94 Freemans, we've gathered some of their best work along with other kitschy sports posters from the '80s & '90s and beyond. Check 'em out after the jump.

We Want YOU To See These Rad Recruitment Posters [34 PHOTOS]

James Montgomery Flagg's 1917 Uncle Sam "I Want You" poster was based on the original British Lord Kitchener poster of three years earlier. It was used to recruit soldiers for both World War I and World War II. The Uncle Sam character is actually based on Samuel Wilson, a meat packer from upstate NY who shipped beef to the U.S. Army in barrels marked "U.S." during the War of 1812. Flagg called it "most famous poster in the world." We'd have to agree as countless artists have given it their own twist with iconic characters substituting for Uncle Sam like Darth Vader, Doctor Doom, GI Joe's Cobra, Master Shredder and more. Check it out after the jump.

13 Bootleg Movie Posters [PHOTOS]

Ever buy a bootleg DVD? There's weird cover art, typos, and unusual packaging. Was the guy lazy? No, he's just not from around here. As the "City of Sushi" episode of South Park pointed out, cultural differences can be hilarious, especially when international destinations try to market and sell tickets for American made films. Case in point? These movie posters we found that were created to promote traveling movie shows and bootleg screenings in foreign countries. Check 'em out after the jump!

50 Epic Demotivational Posters About Lesbians For Gay Pride Month [PHOTOS]

June is Gay and Lesbian Pride Month. In June 2000, Bill "Bubba" Clinton declared June "Gay & Lesbian Pride Month", which was revised to "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month" by Barack Obama. Why June? Well, it was chosen to commemorate the 1969 riots in Greenwich Village that sparked the modern LGBT liberation movement in the U.S. Throughout the month, GLBT groups and associations hold pride parades, picnics, parties, and memorials (in addition to each other - ZING!). We honor the L word in GBT with a month's worth of demotivational posters celebrating girl on girl. Check 'em out after the jump!

72 Epic Demotivational Posters About Boobs [PHOTOS]

Motivational posters were originally created to uplift the spirit. Then the internet community gave us demotivational posters, which poke fun at the cutesy tame material with pictures of massive fails paired with snarky commentary. The practice then evolved into focusing on the female form, more specifically, the titty. While some lump these into demotivational, we find them pretty damn inspiring. Makes us want to start a strip club or become a plastic surgeon. To honor those creative wizards who aptly apply thick black borders and witty captions to jaw dropping pics, we've pulled together 72 of the best breast-related demotivational (or motivational) posters on the web. Check 'em out after the jump!

5 Classic Commemorative Russian Space Program Posters

Na Zdorovie! Today marks the 50th anniversary of one of mankind's momentous accomplishments - humanity's first successful journey into outer space. And holding that prestigious honor is Yuri Gagarin, a Russian pilot and cosmonaut who, in the Vostok spacecraft, orbited the Earth and was hailed as a hero by his country, much to the chagrin of Americans back on the ground.

To commemorate this occasion, Chicago-based freelance graphic designer, Justin Van Genderen has created a series of Russian Space Program posters in the vernacular art deco style of the early 60s. See these fantastic art pieces for yourself and check out more at his website 2064 Design, comrade!

Movies This Week: Statham’s A Mechanic, Hopkin’s Possessed, Bardem’s Biutiful

No Strings Attached scored the #1 slut... slot at the box office, bedding about $19 million to sexile The Green Hornet. The Way Back averaged under $2k per screen to net $1.2 mil and The Company Men collected more than $6k per screen on only 106 engagements. This week's entries feature Jay Stay fixin' problems, a possessed Anthony Hopkins who may be into Fox News, a biutiful single dad, and a couple of spoiled sisters who lose their line of credit. Screw the Pro Bowl, NHL All-Star Game, and the Winter X-Games and get righteous with these movie previews.

Movies This Week: Natalie Portman Enjoys Casual Sex, Ben Affleck’s Fired

The Green Hornet beat out The Dilemma at the box office over MLK weekend with nearly twice the revenue, $40 mil to $20 mil. January's a tough month for theatrical releases; it's a timeframe where studios dump their less than stellar projects and productions with modest to low expectations. For The Green Hornet to perform like it did is a surprise. This week's new entries feature casual sex, unemployment, hired help, and the long road to freedom. Check our preview of this week's new releases after the jump!

Movies This Week: Vince Vaughn’s Dilemma, Seth Rogen’s A Superhero

True Grit finally supplanted Little Martha Fockers at the top spot of the B.O. last week, taking in $14 million. New entry Season of the Witch reeled in $10 million at the #3 spot while Country Strong expanded by around 1,400 theaters and hauled in $7.3 mil in the #6 slot. What can we say, people prefer fictional witches with mystical powers over real bitches with the menstrual powers. Makes sense. This week's entries feature a difficult moral decision, Seth Rogen as a superhero, and a robot doctor. Put down the confusing horoscope and read on.

Dec 24, 2010

Movies This Week: Rooster Cogburn, Fockers, and Jack Black’s Travel Show

Tron Legacy dominated the competition at the box office last weekend pulling in $44 mil with a healthy per screen average of around $13k. Stealing the #2 spot was mixed live action animation adaptation Yogi bear with $16 mil. How Do You Know a romcom is a bomb? When it comes in 8th with $7 mil on a $120 mil budget. This week's entries feature Rooster Cogburn (greatest name ever), small motherf'ers, big ol' Jack Black, and a Hollywood bad boy. Santa's comin', so make with the reading already.

Dec 17, 2010

Movies This Week: A Love Triangle, Klepto Bear, and The Return of TRON!

Last weekend Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader took the crown at the box office pulling in $24 mil while the combined firepower of A-listers Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie couldn't push The Tourist to crack $20 mil. Meanwhile The Fighter pulled in close to a $75,000 per screen average from 4 engagements. Black Swan is like the Black Hole of cinema, expanding rapidly. This week's entries include an aging love triangle, a talking, stealing bear, platonic parents, and the return of Tron!

Dec 3, 2010

Movies This Week: I Love Black Swan The Warrior’s Way

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 89 barely edged out the animated Rapunzel flick Tangled by a less than $350k. Burlesque took the fourth spot with $11 mil while boner rom com Love and Other Drugs was stronger than Faster. This week's entries feature the best ballerina on ballerina kiss in the history of lesbianism, ninjas battling cowboys, a gay conman, Black Panthers, the afterlife, psycho yuppies, and Santy Claus. Anyone else watching the Scrooged marathon on AMC? Awesome, right? Read this first, though.

Nov 26, 2010

Movies This Week: Faster, Nuder, Longer, Harder

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 murdered the competition last weekend, summoning more than $125 million from the depths of America's bank accounts with an average of $30k per screen. It was the all-time sixth biggest-grossing opening weekend and a new franchise high. The Next Three Days might not see another three days after opening in the 5th position with only $6.5 million.

Nov 19, 2010

Movies This Week: Boys Riding Brooms, Killer Wives, and LiLo’s Biopic

Megamind was mega moneymaker again at the box office, pulling in $29 mil to put a stop to Unstoppable, which ran away with $22 mil. Skyline made back its budget in its debut weekend while Morning Glory has a ways to go to clear that $40 mil budget. This week's entries are few and far between due to Harry Potter. However, if you prefer fiery redheads and homicidal blondes over magical kids molesting their wands, you're in luck.

Oct 8, 2010

Movies This Week: October 8th, 2010

This week's entries feature big ass knives, long distance relationships, international espionage, chicks basketball, vampires, dogs, jailbait, Chinese trains, and 9/11. 10 Things In A Girl’s Room That Should Scare You Off

You can tell a lot about a girl by what's in her room. For example, if everything is neat and organized, chances are she's pretty on top of things. If her room is a pig-sty, she may be more laid back -- so you can probably take her as being one of the guys. Too much pink? It could signal a college girl that hasn't fully grown up yet. Too many childhood toys? Yeah, she's definitely not looking to grow up anytime soon. However, the color scheme seems like a joke in comparison to so many other things you could find. For your future relationship sanity, here is a list of ten things that should probably scare you off in a girl's room.
