Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
I chose my school because it was close enough to my hometown that I can see my family whenever I like, but far enough away that I’m able to learn to be independent It also had so many different opportunities for me to take advantage of. My favorite part of NIU is all the amazing people I have met and the life long friendships that it had given me
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
I am one of the new member educators of my sorority, Alpha Phi. I am doing undergraduate research with one of my professors and I am also a peer mentor for freshman who are getting into research. I’m apart of the student advisory board for the Health Sciences Department and I am apart of the honors program on campus as well.
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
It’s occupational therapy with a minor in family and child studies
Do you have a favorite sports team?
Chicago Bulls
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
Definitely Miley Cyrus
