The Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles will face each other in the MLB American League Wild Card Playoff game tonight, a one-game opportunity to advance to the next level. As you might know, both teams are AL East rivals, and both teams clinched a spot in the Wild Card on Sunday. It’s going to be a tight game for sure, but the final score might wind up being influenced by the fact that one team can start their ace and the other can’t.
The Baltimore Orioles will start their best pitcher, Chris Tillman, in a no-brainer decision. The Blue Jays, however, pitched their ace on Sunday to clinch the spot, so now they’ll go with Marcus Strohman. They say that in the playoffs pitching is the biggest key, so we’ll see if that holds true in tonight’s Wild Card.
