The first trailer for Star Wars: Rogue One is actually here! Just one day after the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Disney is wasting no time in spending and making serious money.
A teaser trailer for the movie, officially named Rogue One: A Star Wars Story debuted last night on Facebook in anticipation of the real first trailer set to debut on Good Morning America. It tells the story of Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones), a Rebel and a rebel who’s tasked with finding the plans to the Death Star for the Rebel Alliance.
You can watch that teaser trailer, which features familiar TIE fighter sounds; the Empire theme; and some scary-looking, black-clad storm troopers, likely to be the “Death Troopers” we’ve heard rumors about. Considering that Rogue One is supposed to be a grittier Star Wars story without as many meddling Jedi, it’s a safe bet that the Death Troopers are going to be the top dogs.
Update–4/7/2016: Don’t even bother with the teaser because the real one is here and it looks bad ass.

Rogue One opens in theaters on December 19th. It’s directed by Godzilla’s Gareth Edwards. The cast includes Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkselsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whittaker, and more.
