An overcast, humid Thursday in New York City was brightened up by a visit from Bud Light and two of their hula-hooping hype girls with special edition cans (see pictures below) for the Mad Decent Block Party. As you may know, Mad Decent’s Block Party kicks off today in Atlanta, GA.
What is the Mad Decent Block Party? It’s an annual event that began in 2008 with a multiple city tour featuring some of the best musicians & DJ’s from around the world. The tour lasts for almost 2 months and visits 18 cities across the country.
Bud Light worked alongside 31 artists to create 31 designs which, using some futuristic packaging technology, turned those 31 designs into 31 million. According to Alexander Lambrecht, the Vice President of Bud Light “No two cans are the same” – but they all look awesome.
These stunning cans are part of Bud Light’s Summer Bucket List program which will help BL fans across the country have the best summer experience. In order to win, Bud Light fans 21+ will check items off their Summer Bucket List and upload a summer picture showing how they are #UpForWhatever to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #UpForWhatever and #BLContest. Prizes range from Summer Bucket List gear to all-inclusive trips to Las Vegas, Lollapalooza and the Mad Decent Block Party in San Diego (09/13).
