"WOLFCOP" Trailer: The Hero That Some Small Town Needs [VIDEO]

If you thought RoboCop was a good movie, you ain’t seen nothing yet–or at least nothing like WolfCop. Now we’re pretty excited to see if this movie can pull off the smart mix of comedy and horror that movies like Evil Dead 2 helped to perfect. The story is about an alcoholic cop named Lou Garou (geddit?), who often blacks out and wakes up in weird situations. Then his life begins to change. Usually, that career path ends up with a guy becoming a COED staffer. Garou, however, discovers that his senses are heightened and he’s becoming a better cop. The bad news is that this happens at the same time that crime scenes begin to seem familiar.

And if you can’t piece together the plot by now, just wait until the full moon comes along and the tagline of the movie finally pays off: “Half Cop, Half Wolf, All WolfCop.” The movie comes out in Canada on June 6th, and then we’re sure the producers will get those worldwide engagements going in September. Check out more about the movie on the official website–and we’ll go ahead and note that Evil Dead 2 was directed by Sam Raimi, and it’s entirely possible that the guy behind WolfCop isn’t as talented.
