P. Diddy Goes Back to Puff Daddy: What Does It Mean? [VIDEO]

Puff Daddy has officially returned. The 44-year-old rapper and media mogul has changed his name back to Puff Daddy for the first time since he changed his name in 2001.

P.Diddy or Diddy or whatever name he’s been going by lately announced that he is returning to his old stage name on Tuesday. His decision to re-adopt his old name comes just before the release of his first album in four years, “MMM.” Publicity stunt much? Combs announced the change during a trailer for “Big Homie,” his upcoming single with Rick Ross and French Montana. Although he claims that “For the record, I did not change my name,” Combs tweeted under his handle @iamdiddy. “I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! 🙂 Be cool Man lol.”

We seem to recall him making a big deal about changing his name back in the day. Do we really care what he calls himself anyway? Check out the clip for “Big Homie” below…
