Things got a little heated between two of the WNBA’s brightest young stars on Thursday night. Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers found themselves in a physical exchange during the Fever-Wings matchup, and it’s already all over social media – mostly because of what Bueckers said afterward.

Video circulating from the game shows Bueckers playing tight, physical defense on Clark during a possession. There was clear contact. The officials didn’t call anything.

That’s when things got interesting.

After the whistle didn’t come, Bueckers turned toward Clark. Cameras caught her appearing to tell Clark to “calm down” – a moment that’s since taken on a life of its own online.
