A gas leak at American University has led to evacuations and road closures on the campus Wednesday morning. At this time, there are no reports of injuries.
Ths school announced on their Twitter account that the Mary Graydon Center, Butler Pavilion, Bender Arena, Sports Center Garage & Tunnel Shops have been evacuated due to a damaged gas line.
In addition to the evacuations, main campus roads and parking have been closed. Shuttle service is limited to Nebraska and Massachusetts Avenue stops. Parking at the School of International Service Katzen, and East Campus garages will remain open.
American University police and D.C. Fire and EMS officials are on the scene.
