Oh, Spicey. At first, I hated you, and then, courtesy of Melissa McCarthy’s otherworldly impression of you, I began to simply appreciate your existence.
These days, I’m halfway between thinking you’re a complete asshat but also kind of feeling bad for you. I’ve come to realize that it’s the press secretary’s job to go out and play the president’s puppet, and you just happen to be the one unfortunate enough to have the Donald’s delusional, tiny hands up your ass.
Now, I’m reasonable enough to understand that Spicer has bigger things to worry about than how his tie might be modified by the internet, so we’ll give him a pass. But that doesn’t mean we all can’t take a moment and admire how incredible this GIF is.
At this point, I’m just hoping for a cartoon or The Office-style reality show about today’s White House.
