Most of the focus heading into the NFC Championship game was on the Packers and Aaron Rodgers’ superhuman play. But on the field Sunday, the Pack were no match for Matt Ryan and the Falcons in the final game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Ryan showed why he’s the MVP frontrunner by passing for 392 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. And Julio Jones continued to fuel the notion that he’s the best wide receiver in football by making 9 receptions for 180 yards and catching 2 of those touchdowns. The final score was a lopsided 44-21 victory for Atlanta, and Samuel L. Jackson and the rest of the Falcons fans should be ecstatic.
