VIDEO: Dave Chappelle Jokes About Diddy And Kid Cudi On Tour

Dave Chappelle has incorporated the ongoing feud between Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Kid Cudi into his latest standup routine, addressing how Diddy allegedly terrorized Cudi through a series of disturbing actions.

Despite Chappelle’s shows enforcing strict no-phone policies, one audience member managed to capture footage of the comedian discussing the allegations during his recent Seattle performance. In the video, Chappelle details claims that Diddy broke into Cudi’s home, destroyed his vehicle, and even opened his Christmas presents.

These alleged acts were reportedly motivated by Diddy’s jealousy over a suspected relationship between Kid Cudi and Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former girlfriend.

“Kid Cudi was violated by Puff,” Chappelle says in the footage. “He alleged that Puff blew up his Porsche with a molitov cocktail. I got a Porsche too, I said, ‘What the f—?’ And then he said that allegedly Puff broke into his house, and I’m telling you, he opened this n—-‘s Christmas gifts.”

The comedian then reflects on how personal such an invasion would feel.

“Boy, I love Christmas, I would have been mad as f—. That puts Kid Cudi in a tough position. If you’re Kid Cudi, you’ve got two choices: either A) you’re gonna have to do some gangster s— to him, that he can’t prove — and if you’re not build like that, and I do not believe Kid Cudi is built like that — you’re gonna have to call the police.”

Chappelle contrasts Cudi’s predicament with his own hypothetical response.

“Now, I on the other hand. Well, I am built like that. If that motherf—– opened my Christmas gifs, you best believe I’m gonna do something to that motherf—–.”

Legal Troubles Mount for Diddy

Combs’ legal problems began escalating in September 2024 when authorities arrested him at a New York City hotel. His trial started on May 5, 2025, culminating in a guilty verdict after three days of jury deliberation on July 2, 2025. He was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution purposes involving his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, another former girlfriend, and male sex workers.

The recently released Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning has further damaged Diddy’s reputation by exploring his alleged connections to the murders of iconic rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.
