Tom Brady stirred up social media reactions this weekend with an Instagram post that many users described as classic “divorced dad” content while he was in Wisconsin for broadcasting duties.
The former NFL quarterback shared an image from the classic cartoon Tom & Jerry featuring the Tom character dressed in a suit and smoking a cigar. The meme included the text “I’m the CEO of my own love, F— your rules” – which Brady enthusiastically endorsed by adding “Well said!!!” to his Instagram story.
This type of content falls squarely within internet “grindset” culture – a subgenre that glorifies hustle mentality to exaggerated degrees.
Twitter users didn’t hold back their reactions.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was in Green Bay to call Sunday’s Packers-Bears matchup for Fox when he shared the post.

The cartoon gangster wasn’t Brady’s only Instagram activity. He also posted a selfie showing off his watch with the simple caption “Football weather” – perhaps a nod to the frigid Wisconsin conditions he encountered while preparing for the broadcast.

Brady, who finalized his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen in 2022, has been gradually developing his broadcasting career since retiring from the NFL.
