ESPN College GameDay is putting two programs in the national spotlight that don’t usually get massive press. However, because of the start of their 2019 campaigns, the two programs are more than deserving of their time being featured in Week 10.
This week, ESPN announced that the College GameDay crew will be heading to Memphis for the top 25 clash between the Memphis Tigers and SMU Mustangs.
Memphis currently sits at 7-1 on the season and is ranked No. 24 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, while SMU sits at No. 15 as one of just nine unbeaten teams in the nation. The game’s winner will have the inside track to represent the West Division of the American Athletic Conference in the conference championship game.

Despite being the higher-ranked team, SMU will enter the game at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium as 6-point underdogs. Kickoff on ABC is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The only other game between two top-ranked teams takes place in the SEC earlier in the afternoon when the No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs take on the No. 6 Florida Gators at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
