The New Orleans Pelicans travel north of the border to officially tip-off the 2019-20 NBA regular season with a clash against the defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena. The Raptors are kicking off their title defense with a new-look roster after the departure of Kawhi Leonard.
New Orleans, meanwhile, is also welcoming a number of new faces to the roster with the likes of Lonzo Ball after a blockbuster trade that sent star big man Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Unfortunately, the Pelicans will have to start the season without the No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson.
Toronto enters the game as solid 7-point favorites.
