Kanye West had an impressive gift to celebrate the birthday of his wife Kim Kardashian West, she recently revealed on social media. In honor of her birthday, Kardashian shared a photo and announced that Kanye has donated a whopping $1 million to some of her favorite charities that support prison reform.
Kardashian shared the news with her more than 66 million followers on Instagram.
“I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye [gave] me the most amazing bags,” Kim wrote on Twitter. “But he also donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!”

In a recent interview with Vogue, Kardashian revealed that she is studying to be a lawyer and she has hopes of taking the bar exam by 2022.
The interview was done as part of Vogue’s cover story for May.
The news comes at a time when Kardashian has been more politically active and vocal about reform of the justice system. Kardashian has met with president Donald Trump in the past and was a driving force in the release of Alice Marie Johnson.
“The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency,” Kardashian said. “I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, Oh, shit. I need to know more.
“I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case. It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role. But I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.”
And luckily for Kardashian, she has the full support of her husband through all of this.
