The ex-girlfriend of DeMarcus Cousins, Christy West, has filed court documents against the NBA player seeking a restraining order. The court documents allege Cousins previously choked West during a past argument and that he threatened to kill her in a more recent incident.
In fact, TMZ Sports obtained audio with a man alleged to be Cousins telling West he would “put a bullet in your f**cking head.”
Cousins was reportedly upset that West would not let him have his son prior to his wedding to girlfriend Morgan Lang in Atlanta, Georgia.

TMZ Sports has obtained court docs and a police report filed by DC’s ex-girlfriend, Christy West — claiming the NBA star threatened her on August 23, just one day before Cousins was set to marry his new girlfriend, Morgan Lang, in Atlanta.
West claims she made the recording while at a trampoline park in Alabama with their 7-year-old son … and she’s adamant the voice on the other line is Cousins’.
“I’m gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level,” the man’s voice can be heard saying. “Can I have my son here, please?” After being told no, the man responds: “I’m gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f**king head.”
TMZ adds West said that Cousins told her that he was going to kill her, “even if he didn’t have to get his hands dirty doing it.”

An investigation into the allegations against Cousins has been opened by the Mobile Police Department. Cousins, meanwhile, went through with his wedding on Saturday.
Cousins had signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason, but his season was over before it even began. On August 16, the 6-foot-11 center suffered a torn left ACL during a work out in Las Vegas.
