WATCH: Bronny James is Hitting Trick Shots From the Bench Now

Bronny James continues to be one of the most intriguing high school basketball players in the nation. Sure, it helps when your father is LeBron James, but Bronny has proven that he has the skills to back up the hype that is following him through high school and the AAU circuit.

Most recently, Bronny showed off his shooting skills by draining a shot while sitting on the bench.

Bronny’s younger brother, Bryce Maximus, passed him the ball before the 14-year-old phenom launched a long three-pointer from his seat.

While the shot was impressive, it is what happened afterwards that really caught people’s attention. After draining the shot, Bronny looked at the camera and shouted out an NBA superstar, but it wasn’t his father. Instead, Bronny took the moment to shout “STEPH!” — a shoutout to Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who is known for his long-range three-pointers and even longer shots during pre-game warmups.

You can check out the trick shot below.

Maybe he will shout out “LeBron!” after his first in-game posterization.

Bronny James, born LeBron Raymone James Jr., is a 6-foot-2 guard who has transferred to Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, California. Bronny had previously led Old Trail School in Bath Township, Ohio to an Independent School League championship before transferring to Sierra Canyon when his father made the move to the Los Angeles Lakers. At Sierra Canyon, Bronny will team up with Zaire Wade, the son of future NBA Hall of Famer and former LeBron teammate Dwyane Wade, and five-star recruits B.J. Boston and Ziaire Williams.

According to multiple reports, Bronny James has various Division I basketball offers including those from top programs like the Duke Blue Devils and Kentucky Wildcats.
