The United States men’s national team takes the pitch in the Gold Cup quarterfinals on Sunday, June 30 with a match against Curacao. The USMNT is a heavy favorite in the match, but must keep their focus in order to avoid the overconfidence trap at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
If everything goes according to plan for the United States, they should be able to take advantage of an undisciplined Curacao defense to create a comfortable lead early in the game en route to the semifinals where they will face the winner of Jamaica vs Panama earlier in the day.
